RewindNote: Offline Notepad Live

Write down an idea without waiting for an account or a connection. RewindNote is a calm offline notepad built around one clear promise: you can see when your note is saved and return to an earlier version when you need to. WHY REWINDNOTE • Visible auto-save — the editor shows whether your note is saving, saved on this device, or needs a retry. • Version history — review and restore up to the latest 20 automatic checkpoints. Your current version stays in history when you restore an older one. • Local-first notes — core note editing works without an internet connection or account. There is no cloud sync in this version. • No ads while you write — ads may appear in the note library after the required privacy choices, but not inside the editor. EVERYDAY NOTE TOOLS • Text notes and checklists • Search across note titles and text • Pin important notes • Move notes to Trash and restore them during the 30-day retention window • Open a new note from the home-screen widget • Send text from another app directly into a new RewindNote note • Follow the system light or dark appearance BACKUP AND ACCESS PROTECTION Export a `.rewindnote` backup when you choose. RewindNote checks the archive and previews its contents before a safe merge; existing notes with matching IDs are skipped rather than replaced. Backups are unencrypted, plaintext ZIP archives. Anyone who can access a backup file may be able to read its notes. Store exported files in a location you trust. The optional app lock uses your Android device authentication to limit screen access. It is not database encryption, and the stored local database is not encrypted by RewindNote. RewindNote focuses on a small set of note-taking actions and makes their state clear: write now, see it saved, and rewind when needed.
