Vibe Terminal: SSH Client

Vibe Terminal Core is a mobile SSH client for developers and system administrators. Connect to servers you are authorized to access, run commands, and manage terminal tasks from your Android device. ■ Requirements • SSH requires a reachable server and valid credentials. The app does not provide SSH servers or cloud servers. • No app account registration is required. AI and GitHub integrations are optional and require credentials for the external services you choose. • Configure AI chat with OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, or a custom endpoint. You supply the API key or other required credentials. The external service's terms and charges may apply. ■ Features • Multiple SSH sessions: connect to several servers and switch between sessions. • Password and public-key authentication, with ProxyJump (jump host) chains. • TOFU (Trust On First Use) host-key verification and device secure storage for saved credentials. • Command snippets: save frequent commands with {{variable}} prompts and run them. • Startup scripts: configure commands to run after connecting to each host. • Terminal: ANSI colors, TUI applications such as vim and htop, pinch zoom, a Ctrl/Esc/arrow helper key bar, and IME input. • Background connections: an Android foreground service supports ongoing SSH sessions. Availability depends on the network, server, and device power settings. • Optional AI chat: ask questions about terminal tasks and receive command suggestions. Review commands before running them. • Optional GitHub integration: settings synchronization, Gist snippet sharing, and community features. ■ Data handling • You register and manage the servers, accounts, and keys you use. • Using AI chat may send your prompts, conversation, and context from terminal commands, server output, and logs to the selected AI provider or custom server. Take care when using AI with terminals containing sensitive information. • AI chat does not support direct file or image attachments. However, pasted file text and file content shown in terminal output or logs may be included in AI requests. • GitHub sync, Gist, and community features transmit the relevant data to GitHub or your configured GitHub Enterprise server. Public posts are visible to others. • HTTPS is recommended for custom AI endpoints. HTTP connections do not encrypt data in transit.
