Lune Keyboard: Fast & Private

Lune is a keyboard designed to keep its work on your device. Typing, correction, emoji and saved themes run locally, and an offline-only mode lets you confirm it. OFFLINE-ONLY MODE Offline-only is a single setting. With it enabled, Lune makes no network requests: no dictionary downloads, no diagnostics, no advertising. Typing, suggestions, autocorrect, emoji and your saved keyboards continue to work, because they run on the device rather than on a server. The setting can be turned off again at any point, and you decide what reconnects when it is. TYPING AND CORRECTION Swipe typing, word suggestions and autocorrect draw on a dictionary held on the device, so no cloud service is involved in learning how you write. Gesture shortcuts are built in: - swipe left to delete - swipe right for space - swipe up for shift - swipe down for enter Also included at no cost: the number row, an emoji picker with search, recents and kaomoji, voice typing through your phone's own speech recognition, and a custom dictionary for the words you would rather autocorrect left alone. APPEARANCE Lune ships with a set of built-in themes, among them the night gradient the app takes its name from. Each one is editable, and you can begin from nothing instead: background colors and gradients, an image from your gallery, key shapes, borders, fonts and glow. Save the results as separate keyboards and move between them from the keyboard itself. LANGUAGES The Lune interface is available in 59 languages, so the settings you are configuring appear in your own language and not only the keys you type with. Typing dictionaries are handled as a separate, optional download: English is included with the app, Chinese pinyin input is built in, and further packs are added over time. The language key moves between the dictionaries you have installed. EVERYDAY TOOLS When a verification code arrives by text message, it is offered above the keyboard for a single tap and then discarded. Translation is available without leaving the app you are working in, and GIF search runs from the keyboard. Both are free to use. HOW LUNE HANDLES YOUR DATA - What you type in other applications is not collected, and is not sent to Lune's servers - Where the keyboard does make a network request, it uses HTTPS - No account is required to type. Cloud sync operates only if you sign in and enable it - Uninstalling the app removes its data from the device LUNE+ Lune+ is an optional subscription covering the additional extensions: a clipboard manager, notes that can be locked with a passcode or fingerprint, text snippets, a calculator, text tools and premium themes. If you would rather not subscribe, Lune+ time can also be earned through optional rewarded ads. Subscriptions are managed and cancelled in Google Play, and offline-only mode disables advertising entirely.
