CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS THE UN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS When shopping with ethy accredited brands, you make sure your shopping contributes towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals - a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives of everyone, everywhere. ethy has created a sustainability accreditation system for brands which aligns with the United Nations Goals and has been developed with major sustainability leaders such as Carbon Neutral Britain, WWF and the University of Edinburgh. Accreditation covers six paths focusing on building a sustainable future: Stable climate, Clean planet, Responsible resource use and production, Healthy people, Thriving communities and Protecting biodiversity & animal welfare. To gain accreditation in any of these areas, a brand must prove – through hard data and rigorous assessment – that it is taking meaningful, tangible action in that area. Using the ethy app you can easily identify why a brand is sustainable through ethy trust marks.
