Full description
Net Pulse turns your Android phone into a clear, privacy-conscious local network toolkit. Discover every device visible to your phone on the active Wi-Fi or Ethernet network. Net Pulse combines reachability replies, successful TCP connections, explicit connection refusals, DNS-SD/mDNS service advertisements and Android's exposed neighbour cache. Search or filter the new flat device inventory, then tap any result to open a dedicated device workspace. Each device page separates confirmed facts from best-effort identification. Review the IP address, advertised hostname, scan time, responsive services, MAC address and manufacturer when Android makes them available. Run fresh reachability probes, recheck common services, open focused port diagnostics, copy a structured report or deliberately share the context with your chosen assistant. Device labels such as router, Raspberry Pi, printer, computer, camera and smart device are evidence-based clues—not guaranteed identities. Open the dedicated diagnostics workspace to run four Android reachability probes, resolve DNS names and check up to 20 TCP ports you choose. The detailed Network Info screen shows Android's internet validation, metering, estimated link bandwidth, local IPv4/IPv6 addresses, DNS servers, default gateway, routes and available Wi-Fi radio information. Highlights: • Multi-signal local IPv4 discovery on the active network • DNS-SD/mDNS discovery for web, SSH, SMB, printing, Cast, AirPlay and workstation services • Searchable and filterable flat device inventory • Dedicated details and live-tool page for every discovered device • IP address, hostname and common responsive services • MAC and manufacturer only when Android makes reliable data available • Raspberry Pi identification from hostname or known OUI evidence • Four-probe reachability test with loss and average response • User-selected TCP port checks • DNS resolution for IPv4 and IPv6 • Wi-Fi signal, frequency, band, link speed and standard when available • Per-device evidence, scan history and copyable reports • Optional Smart Assist handoff through Android Share • No account and no Academy4Tech analytics endpoint Android can restrict MAC, SSID and BSSID information, and some routers block client-to-client discovery. Silent, sleeping, isolated, guest-network or router-hidden clients can therefore remain unavailable to any phone-side scanner. Net Pulse explains these limits and never invents protected values. Use scanning and port checks only on networks and devices you own or are authorized to test. Google Mobile Ads provides the separate sponsored banner and may process advertising-related data according to the disclosed privacy policy and consent choices.
