FastAssets GIN

FastAssets GIN is ESOM's warehouse app for issuing stock with a Goods Issuance Note (GIN) — the official record of every item that leaves the store, which project it goes to and who received it. SCAN AND ISSUE IN SECONDS • Scan item barcodes with the phone camera — auto-zoom and tap-to-focus for small or distant labels • Scanning the same item again adds one to its quantity • Type a code or use a hardware barcode scanner, or search the Item Master by code or description • Unknown barcode? Add it as a new item or link it to an existing one on the spot (up to 3 barcodes per item) THE OFFICIAL ESOM GIN • Project, date, GL / CBS code and material-request reference on every GIN • GIN numbers (GIN-YYYY-NNNNN) are issued by the server, so two phones can never create the same number • Print the official ESOM GIN format on A4 or save it as PDF, or print directly to an 80 mm / 58 mm network thermal printer SIGN ON THE SCREEN • Warehouse, receiver and Admin HOD sign the GIN with a finger as the final step • Signatures print in the GIN's signature boxes WORKS WITHOUT SIGNAL • Everything is saved on the phone first and uploaded automatically when a connection is available • The Item Master, projects and recent GIN history are kept on the phone, so scanning and issuing never stop in basements or remote sites • Nothing is ever uploaded twice — a GIN saved offline gets its number as soon as it reaches the server FOR ADMINISTRATORS • Manage the Item Master (scan barcodes straight into an item), projects, GL / CBS codes, users and mobile access • Restrict users to specific projects • History of every GIN with reprint, cancel and draft approval FastAssets GIN is for ESOM staff. An account created by an ESOM administrator is required to sign in.
