Smart Fuel

Smart Fuel is a next-generation fuel distribution and management application designed to modernize how fuel stations operate and serve riders. By leveraging automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) technology, Smart Fuel eliminates manual record-keeping, reduces fraud, and ensures fair, controlled fuel distribution for every registered rider. How It Works When a rider arrives at a participating fuel station, the Smart Fuel app instantly scans and identifies their vehicle's number plate. Within seconds, the system retrieves the rider's fuel eligibility status, checks their refueling history, and grants or denies access based on the configured distribution rules. No paperwork. No waiting. No disputes. The entire process is seamless for both the fuel station operator and the rider — a quick scan is all it takes. Fair Distribution with Built-In Cooldown To ensure equitable fuel access for everyone, Smart Fuel enforces a smart cooldown period between refuels. Each rider can only receive fuel once every 3 to 4 days (configurable per station or authority). This prevents hoarding, reduces black-market reselling, and ensures the fuel supply reaches as many people as possible in a fair and transparent manner. Once a rider has received fuel, their record is automatically updated and the cooldown timer begins. If a rider attempts to refuel before the cooldown expires, the app immediately displays their remaining wait time, keeping the process transparent and frustration-free.
