Loan Duration: 6 months Interest Calculation: Total interest = Tk. 10,000 × 9% × (6/12) = Tk. 450 Processing & Other Fees: Processing Fee (PF) = Tk. 50 VAT on PF = Tk. 7.50 CIB Charges = Tk. 100 VAT on CIB = Tk. 15 Total Fees = Tk. 172.50 Total Repayable Amount: Loan + Interest = Tk. 10,000 + 450 = Tk. 10,450 Total Repayable (including fees) = Tk. 10,450 + 172.50 = Tk. 10,622.50 Monthly EMI: Tk. 10,622.50 ÷ 6 ≈ Tk. 1,770 per month Maximum APR Calculation (3 Months) : Loan Amount: Tk. 10,000 Interest Rate: 9% p.a. = 2.25% for 3 months Interest Amount: Tk. 10,000 × 2.25% = Tk. 225 Processing & Other Charges: Processing Fee = 0.5% × 10,000 = Tk. 50 VAT on PF = 15% of 50 = Tk. 7.50 CIB Charges + VAT = Tk. 100 + 15 = Tk. 115 Total Charges = Tk. 172.50 APR Calculation: Annualized charges = 1.725% × 4 = 6.9% Add interest (2.25%) → Maximum APR = 9.15% Note: Increasing the loan amount reduces the APR.
