PassVerity is an independent consumer app, not affiliated with any government entity, passport authority or border-control agency. It does not provide official government services. Read your passport details with PassVerity, an NFC passport reader and MRZ scanner for personal use. Scan the machine-readable zone, read a compatible ePassport chip, and view your document fields in a clear layout. PASSPORT MRZ SCANNER Use the camera to scan the machine-readable zone on your passport photo page. You can also enter the passport number, date of birth and expiry date manually. NFC EPASSPORT READER Follow the on-screen guidance to read a compatible passport chip using your phone's NFC reader. View available fields such as your name, nationality, document number and expiry date. NFC reading requires a compatible NFC-enabled phone and an electronic passport. Results depend on the document and device. FACE SCANNER & LIVENESS Choose a reference portrait from your gallery, or try the bundled sample. Follow the live camera prompts and compare your face with the selected photo. Face comparison and liveness processing run on-device. This is a separate reference-photo feature; it does not compare your face with the passport chip portrait. LOCAL DOCUMENT PROCESSING Passport images and face embeddings stay on your device. Temporary face files and embeddings are deleted after processing. No account is required. Advertising, purchases and crash diagnostics may use network connections; see the privacy policy for details. DESIGNED FOR EVERYDAY USE Guided scanning, manual entry, readable document fields, and light or dark appearance help you review your own passport information. PassVerity is an independent consumer utility. It is not a government service and is not affiliated with any passport authority. It does not issue, renew or validate passports, prove identity or document authenticity, or determine travel eligibility. Face and liveness results are informational and may be inaccurate.
