AltarNotes - Sermon Notes & AI

Never forget a sermon again. AltarNotes is the sermon notes app built for people who take their faith seriously. Type notes during the service, record the full message in the background, then revisit, reflect, and go deeper all week with AI-powered insights as you apply what you heard. Whether you attend church every Sunday or catch messages wherever you are, AltarNotes keeps every sermon organised, searchable, and alive long after the service ends. 📝 RICH SERMON NOTES Take notes the way you think: headings, bullet points, highlights, and scripture blocks that automatically fetch the verse text. Your notes autosave as you write so nothing is ever lost. 🎙️ BACKGROUND SERMON RECORDING Record the full sermon while you take notes. Recording continues even when your phone is locked. Add chapter markers during the message so you can jump to key moments later. Your recordings stay private on your device always. ✨ AI SERMON INSIGHTS (PRO) Upload a recording or type your notes and let AI do the deep work. Get a concise sermon summary, a list of key points, the Bible verses referenced with their full text, and a personal application note. 🧠 SERMON QUIZ (PRO) Test how much you retained with an AI-generated quiz built from the sermon you just heard. Each question links back to the exact moment in the recording so you can listen again if you get stuck. Share your score with your small group or cell group. 📖 READING TRANSCRIPT (PRO) Get a full word-for-word transcript of any recorded sermon. Searchable, timestamped, and available offline. Copy and share any passage directly from the transcript. 🔔 SPACED REVIEW REMINDERS Sermons you forget by Wednesday are sermons wasted. AltarNotes schedules review reminders at 1, 3, 7, and 21 days after a service, the scientifically proven intervals for long-term retention. Reminders fire locally on your device, even without an internet connection. 📚 ORGANISED LIBRARY Browse all your sermons by preacher, topic tag, date, or series. Set up Quick Fill presets for your regular church so sermon details fill in automatically every Sunday. Search across all your notes, tags, and preachers in one place. 🌍 WORKS OFFLINE AltarNotes is built offline-first. Your notes and recordings are saved locally the moment you write them. Your typed notes sync to the cloud automatically when you reconnect, no data lost, ever. Your recordings though remain on your device and are only uploaded when you want AI Insights based on them. Uploaded recordings are also deleted after the insights are generated. FREE TO START Basic notes and recording are completely free. No account required to get started. Upgrade to Pro to unlock AI insights, quizzes, transcripts, and cloud sync. AltarNotes is designed for Christians who want to go deeper, not just hear a sermon, but carry it with them.
