Empeon Time Kiosk verifies each employee's identity by face before every punch, closing that gap without the cost of dedicated biometric hardware. How it works • Facilities manage kiosks from their Empeon Workforce portal. An admin registers a device with a one-time key, enrolls employees with their consent, and the tablet is live. Employees walk up, the camera confirms their identity, and their punch is recorded in seconds. Key features • Facial recognition clock in/out: employees are identified by face in seconds • Liveness detection: blocks spoofing attempts using a photo or video, confirms a real person is present • PIN fallback with full audit trail: if configured, when a face match isn't available, employees can punch with their existing ID and password.
