Discul

Discul is a disc golf companion that shows how a disc flies before you throw it. THE FLIGHT LAB Pick a disc, set your power and the wind, choose backhand or forehand and a release of hyzer, flat or anhyzer, and watch the flight drawn down the fairway. You get the distance, how far short or long it lands, how far it drifts to the side, and a side view with the peak height and the time in the air. AGAINST YOUR OWN BEST Your longest logged throw with that disc becomes a gold line across the fairway, so every flight is measured against what you have actually done rather than against someone else's arm. BUILD YOUR BAG Add the discs you carry with their speed, glide, turn and fade, pick a type and a colour, and note the weight, the plastic and the wear. THE GAP MAP Your bag plotted by speed and stability, so the hole in it is visible rather than guessed at, with matching stock profiles a tap away. LOG YOUR THROWS Disc, distance, style, shape, date and an optional photograph. Throws group by day, and your best is marked for each disc. THE ATLAS Stock disc profiles grouped by type, each with its numbers and a short note on what it does and where it helps, plus a glossary for hyzer, anhyzer, turn, fade and glide. THE LAB IS AN ESTIMATE The flight is modelled from the numbers you give it, and the screen says so. No model knows your release angle, your snap, or the air on the day. ON THE DEVICE Metres or feet, left hand or right. Discul works without internet, your discs and throws stay on the phone, and there is no account to create.
