BeatLevels plays the music that is already on your phone. Every sample is decoded and shaped in C++, a native DSP chain processes it, and the audio layer plays it. THE CONSOLA Real controls, not a row of presets pretending to be one. • 11-band graphic equalizer — the ISO octave series from 31 Hz to 16 kHz plus a presence band, with pre-amp and a live Custom state • Built-in curves: Flat, Light Bass, Rock, Pop, Jazz, Classical, Bass Boost, Treble Boost and Vocal • Presets of your own. A preset is the whole curve: save it, rename it, delete it, export it to a file and carry it to another device. An import only ever adds, so a curve you tuned by ear is never overwritten by a file you opened • Reverb, with Room, Hall, Studio, Cathedral and Plate • Spatial enhancer, stereo width and bass boost • Crossfeed for headphones, softening the hard left/right separation studio mixes have compared to speakers • Output gain that saturates gently instead of clipping • Balance with a centre detent, and device volume on the same panel Effect presets work the same way and travel in a file of their own. THE ENGINE • MP3, FLAC, M4A/AAC, OGG, Opus, WAV, WMA and more, plus the audio track of video files • Crossfade between tracks, 1 to 12 seconds, and a short fade on every manual change so switching never clicks • Picks up where you left off — queue, track and position survive a restart • Pauses for calls, ducks for navigation prompts, stops when you unplug your headphones YOUR LIBRARY • Songs, albums, artists, genres, folders, favourites and playlists • Live search; sort by title, length or date added; grid or list per category; a fast-scroll rail with a section bubble • Playlists you reorder with a finger, swipe to trim, and fill with a whole album or artist in one action • Multi-selection, hidden tracks, a short-clip filter that keeps ringtones out of the way, and folder sources of your own • Metadata editor for title, artist, album, genre, year, track number and cover art NOW PLAYING • Waveform seek bar drawn from the file itself, coloured from the cover art • The artwork is a pager over the queue — swipe to change track, or browse ahead without interrupting what is playing • Up Next you can reorder, remove with undo, shuffle, and save as a playlist • Sleep timer that fades out, by countdown or at the end of the track • Codec, sample rate and bit rate one tap away ON YOUR PHONE • Media notification with a seek bar, lock-screen art, headset and Bluetooth buttons • Android Auto • Home-screen widgets, small and large • Light, dark and system themes • English and Portuguese • Android 7.0 and above PRIVACY No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking.
