Aurelia's throne stands empty. Lords rise in every valley, and the realm waits to see whose banner hangs above the moot hall. Crownmoot is a slow-burning medieval strategy game. You begin with one humble keep at the edge of the realm and build it into a seat of power — farm by farm, wall by wall, march by march. RAISE YOUR KEEP Eighteen buildings, from farms and sawmills to barracks, stables and siege workshops. Every level costs more and takes longer, so what you raise first matters. Your fields produce while you are away, and your builders keep working after you close the game. MUSTER A HOST Train footmen, archers and cavalry, then promote them into men-at-arms, longbowmen and lancers. Each line answers another: spears break cavalry, cavalry rides down archers, archers cut down infantry. Send them against bandit camps for plunder, or against a rival lord for everything he holds. STUDY IN THE ACADEMY Three branches of research — resources, logistics and war. Every study is permanent and shapes the keep you end up with. SWEAR TO AN ALLEGIANCE Alone, a lord is prey. Join an allegiance or found your own: allies cannot attack one another, they can reinforce each other's walls, and together they can seize the regional seats that bless every member. Swear oaths of peace, or renounce them and carry the mark. HOLD WHAT IS YOURS The horde comes on its own schedule and does not care whose keep it is. Traps, a raised wall and a garrison at home are the difference between a raid you shrug off and one that empties your stores.
