Full description

Elate is the app for carers and support workers who use Elate to plan and record care. Your day, your visits and your team are in one place, so less of your time goes on paperwork and more goes on the people you support. Your day and your week • See today's visits in order, and open one for the address, directions and the tasks to do. • Look ahead at your week, and get a notification when your round changes. • Read any handover notes left for you before you go in. During a visit • Check in and out with a tap. • Work through the visit's tasks and record what was done. • Write care notes, or speak them if your organisation has switched on dictation. You always check the text before it is saved. • Claim expenses with a photo of the receipt. • Report a concern while you are still there. • Record medicines given, if your organisation uses Elate's medication records. When the signal drops Check-ins, notes, tasks and expenses are saved on your phone first and sent to the office when you are back online. The app tells you when everything you recorded has reached the office. Team chat Message colleagues and the office, one to one or in a group. Messages are encrypted on your phone and only the people in a conversation can read them. Your privacy • Lock the app with your fingerprint, face or screen lock. • Your location is recorded only when you check in or out, and only if you allow it. Your visit is still recorded if you don't. • The microphone is only used when you choose to dictate. Before you start Elate is for staff of organisations that use it, so your employer needs to add you before you can sign in. For help with your account or your visits, contact your care team.
