Matric Ace: Maths & Science

Matric Ace is a practice app for CAPS Mathematics and Physical Sciences, built for South African learners in Grades 10, 11 and 12. Every question is written for this app and generated with new numbers each time you open it, so you can practise the same skill again without meeting the same question. Your answers are marked the way a real memo marks them: step by step, with marks per step and follow-through credit when a later step follows correctly from an earlier mistake. WHAT YOU GET • Practice by topic, at three levels. Easy questions lay out every step. Medium questions are exam standard. Hard questions hide the step boxes and check only your final answers, as a real paper does. • Timed papers built to the official format: the real mark total, the real time, and questions in the same topic order as the paper you will sit. March tests, June exams, the Grade 12 September trial and the November or NSC finals. • A maths keyboard made for maths, with fractions, powers, roots, pi and the decimal comma. Your answer is checked by value, so 2(x + 2) and 2x + 4 both count, and so do 5a = 18 and a = 3,6. • Worked solutions after every question, written like a memo. • Fix the equation drills: spot the wrong line, or put the steps in order. • Physical Sciences covers Paper 1 physics and Paper 2 chemistry, including the Grade 10 and 11 work that Grade 12 papers assume. REASONS TO COME BACK • A daily goal you choose, from 5 to 30 questions. • A streak of days in a row, and your last seven days as bars. • One reminder a day at a time you pick, skipped once the goal is done. • A countdown to the NSC exams, or to your own school exam date. • A "retry your mistakes" list per topic, with new numbers on each question. BUILT ON THE OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS Topics, term order, paper layouts and mark totals follow the DBE CAPS documents, the Annual Teaching Plans and the Grade 12 Examination Guidelines. The questions themselves are original, written in past-paper style. Nothing is copied from a DBE or IEB paper. WORKS WITHOUT DATA The whole question bank is inside the app. There is no sign-in and no account, and you can practise with no connection at all. Your progress stays on your phone and is never uploaded. The app is free and carries adverts, which need a connection when they load; everything else keeps working without one.
