Spotlight

Spotlight is a live global chat room. A single global conversation where only one person gets to speak every 60 seconds, chosen by a live weighted lottery. No sign-ups, no noise, no DMs. Just conversation as a spectator sport. Join anonymously with just a display name. Watch the live feed as one message appears every minute. A countdown timer builds anticipation until the next draw. When the spotlight lands on you, a 5-minute window opens to compose your message up to 200 characters. The entire room reads what you wrote. Then you sit out a few draws while the next person gets their turn. The longer you wait without winning, the higher your odds become. Every draw you lose adds to your occurrence count, increasing your weight in the next lottery. Patient users are virtually guaranteed their moment in the spotlight. Tap any message to react with emojis in real time. Reactions are live and update instantly for everyone watching. Every message is screened by AI moderation before appearing. Users can report content in five categories. Anonymous sign-in keeps your identity private. No DMs, no threads, no reply chains. Dark minimalist theme with smooth animations, floating particle effects, and live stats showing participant count, your odds, and total messages sent. Free. No ads. No in-app purchases. Available on Android and iOS. Privacy: No email, phone number, or real name required. No tracking SDKs. Minimal data collection.
