Users can select the firmware file from the device storage using the file manager, and the application transfers the firmware to the reader via Bluetooth. All firmware update operations are performed locally between the mobile device and the ESP32 reader without uploading data to any external servers. Permissions Usage The application may request the following permissions to function correctly: • Bluetooth / Bluetooth Low Energy – Required to discover, connect, and communicate with ESP32 reader devices. • File Access / Storage – Required to allow users to select firmware (OTA) files from the device for updating the reader. These permissions are used strictly for application functionality and not for collecting personal information. Privacy & Data Safety INS BLE CONFIG does not collect, store, or share any personal or sensitive user data. The app does not require user registration or login. All communication occurs locally between the mobile device and the ESP32 reader. No user data or firmware files are transmitted to third-party services or remote servers.
