Full description
NavOnWeb connects the Android Auto session running on your phone to any browser on the same network. Even if your car has no Android Auto built in, any screen with a browser can show the familiar driving screen. Made for • Cars that have a browser but no built-in Android Auto • Using a tablet or laptop as the car screen • Anyone who would rather install one app than buy another adapter Key features • Live streaming: Android Auto video and sound reach the browser with low latency. • Touch control: tap the browser screen and the projection responds. • Simple pairing: enter an 8-digit one-time code once; it reconnects automatically afterwards. • Local-first: devices connect directly over shared Wi-Fi or the phone's hotspot. • Guided setup: a 5-step first-run guide walks through every required setting. What you need • A phone that runs Android Auto (Android 8.0 or newer) • A browser on the same network (car browser, tablet, laptop) • Android Auto's head unit server enabled in developer settings (the setup guide shows how) Safety Complete all setup while parked in a safe place. Never operate your phone or the car screen while driving.

What's new

Better fullscreen and 11 new languages • Fullscreen switches to theater mode first, so kiosk and in-car browsers that block or ignore the Fullscreen API still fill the screen. • The browser Back button or the Android back gesture exits fullscreen. • New languages: Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Arabic, Hindi, Indonesian, German, French, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), Russian, Turkish. • In Arabic and other right-to-left languages, the pairing code now reads in the order you type it.
