Full description

Off The Beaten Track (OTBT) is the offline-first overlanding and camping companion built for 4x4 travellers across Southern Africa. Plan the route, find the camp, and navigate gravel roads and mountain passes — even where there's no cell signal. Whether you're chasing remote campsites in the Karoo, a self-drive through Kgalagadi, or a weekend on the gravel, OTBT works when you're off the grid. OFFLINE MAPS & NAVIGATION Download detailed offline maps for 10 countries across Southern Africa and navigate with no signal. Gravel-aware routing keeps you on roads your 4x4 can handle, with turn-by-turn directions, mountain passes, and points of interest along the way. 16,000+ CAMPSITES & PLACES Discover campsites, caravan parks, guesthouses, 4x4 trails, and points of interest across the region. Filter by power, ablutions, pet-friendly or remote bush camping, and save the spots you want to visit. TRIP PLANNER Build your route, add camps and fuel stops, and see it all on one map. Plan a long overlanding trip or a quick camping weekend, then take it with you offline. RECORD YOUR TRAILS Track your drive with GPS, record the trails you take, and share them with friends. Great for logging that gravel pass or backtracking a remote route. RIG & TYRE TOOLS Set up your vehicle and get tyre-pressure guidance for tar, gravel and sand — worked out for your rig, not a generic chart. SAFETY & SOS Share your location with friends and trigger an SOS when you're far from help. Built for travellers who go where the reception doesn't. BUILT FOR SOUTHERN AFRICA Offline maps and content for South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi and Angola.
