EU VAT Calculator - EHERO helps you decide which VAT treatment applies to transactions within the European Union: calculate intra-EU VAT, look up standard VAT rates for all 27 Member States and check VAT numbers in VIES. All official information it shows comes from the public sources listed at the end. EU VAT calculator • Seller and customer countries, business (B2B) or consumer (B2C), transaction type and amount. • B2B between EU countries: reverse charge when VIES confirms the VAT number and, for goods, they are shipped to another Member State. • B2C goods and digital services: EU-wide €10,000 threshold (current and previous year), option to tax at destination and One Stop Shop (OSS) reminder. • Special cases (imports and IOSS, marketplaces, special territories): a professional review is recommended. VAT number check in VIES • Distinguishes valid, not confirmed and VIES unavailable, with a PDF record. VeriFactu (Spain) • "Does VeriFactu apply to you?" guidance test: whether and from when it applies (companies, 1 January 2027; self-employed and others, 1 July 2027) and the next steps. • Check the QR code of an invoice and open it in the AEAT verification service. The app does not issue or record invoices. Privacy • History of calculations and VIES checks (masked VAT numbers) only on your device. • No third-party ads; usage analytics are optional and off by default. • VAT numbers are sent encrypted to EHERO and VIES only for the check; they are not stored. EHERO VAT Pro subscription (optional): history of up to 100 entries for €3.99 per month in Spain (Google Play shows the final price). It renews monthly until you cancel in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions. Everything else is free.
