Sajda-Prayer Map

Sajda is a community-driven map that makes it easy to find a place to pray anywhere in the world. Travelling, in a shopping centre, or in a city you have never visited — when the prayer time comes in, the hardest question is where. Sajda answers it on the map. WHAT YOU FIND • Official mosques and prayer rooms • Prayer rooms businesses set aside for their customers • Open-air spots where prayer is possible Mosque and prayer room records come from OpenStreetMap; spots the community adds to Sajda appear on the same map in their own colour. Where the map data is thin, records are topped up from Google Maps. THE NEAREST MOSQUE, IN ONE TAP The "Nearest mosque" button brings the map back to where you are, finds the closest spot across both sources and flies there. Directions are in the card that opens. FILTER FOR WHAT YOU NEED Wudu area, women's section, hot water, wheelchair access, open 24/7, free entry, prayer rugs, qibla marking, Friday prayer. Show only the places that match. THE COMMUNITY VERIFIES When you visit a spot you can say "I'm here" or "couldn't find it". As verifications build up the trust score rises and wrong records fade. You can report a record that isn't real; once enough people do, the map hides it. LIVE CONGREGATION CALLS Starting a congregation somewhere? Open a call. People nearby see it on the map and join. A call is visible for at most 20 minutes, then disappears on its own. QIBLA The compass corrects for the magnetic declination where you stand. Without that correction the needle is off by more than ten degrees in parts of the world. No connection needed. WORKS OFFLINE A car park, a basement, data switched off abroad — the map is needed most exactly where there is no connection. You can download every mosque and prayer room in Turkey (about 0.5 MB) and the street map for your region. SAVE THEM, AND PUT THEM ON YOUR HOME SCREEN Star the places you return to; the list opens with no connection. The home screen widget shows them on your home screen, a tap on a row opens directions, and the last line names a different mosque every day. You choose its colours, corners and row count. PRIVACY • You can use Sajda anonymously. Browsing, verifying, reviewing and calling a congregation need no account; only adding a new spot asks for one registered with an email address. • We never touch the camera or the gallery; there is no photo upload. • Your location is not tracked continuously. It is recorded only when you add, verify or report a spot. • You can delete your account and all of your data from inside the app. ADS AND SUPPORT Sajda shows ads; there are none on the qibla tab or in the congregation flow. A single one-off purchase removes them for good and unlocks the offline downloads, the saved places list and the home screen widget. The map and every spot on it stay open to everyone — what you buy is not access, it is having them offline and to hand. Turkish and English. Light and dark themes.
