Off it

We live in the most precisely engineered distraction environment in human history. YouTube, Instagram, TikTok — algorithms built by some of the world's best engineers are designed to keep your eyes on the screen. For teenagers whose self-regulation is still developing, "I should stop" is a thought that rarely becomes action. Off It was built to face that reality head-on. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Why Off It is different ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ We don't block anything. Off It doesn't lock apps or force restrictions. Instead, it turns the time you spend on your screen into a visible number with real consequences. In Parent & Child mode, the child's allowance decreases as their Discipline Score drops. Kids respond to a shrinking allowance far more viscerally than to abstract advice like "you should study." The choice stays theirs. Off It just makes the consequences visible. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Key Features ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ⏱ Automatic screen-off tracking Cumulates the time your screen stays off, 24 hours a day. At the end of the day, you see exactly how much distance you put between yourself and your phone. 📊 Discipline Score A daily score from 0–100. Using immersive apps — games, social media, video — chips away at your score in real time. 💰 Allowance integration (Parent & Child mode) Parents set a base allowance. The child's actual payout adjusts automatically based on their Discipline Score. No more "put the phone down" — the number says it all. 🔍 Immersive content auto-detection Automatically identifies apps by category: games, social media, streaming, music. You choose which categories to monitor. 📣 Nudge messages Parents or accountability partners can send words of encouragement — support, not control. 🏅 Regional ranking(Coming soon) Compare screen-off time with nearby users and maintain healthy competitive motivation. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Who it's for ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Teens and adults who worry about their own phone use • Parents looking for something beyond "just put it down" • Anyone who wants to start with one small habit • People who want to reclaim agency from Big Tech design ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Privacy ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Your data is never sold or shared for advertising purposes. • The installed app list is used only for on-device category detection and is never sent to our servers. • Deleting your account immediately removes all your data. Off It is not a replacement for willpower. It's a supplement that helps you make your own choice.
