Echomitter is a video recording app built for situations where a recording should not disappear too easily. It also includes free Live Location Sharing: choose to share your live GPS location with trusted contacts, even while the app is not open, and stop sharing whenever you want. Record video, upload footage automatically, and choose trusted contacts who can help protect access to important recordings. In Echomitter, recordings cannot be deleted with a single tap. A deletion request must either wait through a security timer or be approved by trusted contacts. This helps protect recordings from accidental deletion, unauthorized deletion, or situations where someone is pressured to remove footage. What Echomitter includes: • Free Live Location Sharing with trusted contacts • Background location sharing that continues until you stop it • Protected video recording • Automatic upload when a connection is available • Recovery for unfinished uploads • Trusted contacts who can help review important requests • Protected deletion requests • Export downloads for completed recordings • Optional GPS information for recordings • Live video and real-time GPS sharing on supported plans • DIM Mode for recording with a very dark screen • Home screen widgets for quickly starting a recording or Location Sharing Trusted contacts can receive notifications, view completed recordings, review deletion requests, help approve or reject protected account changes, and view your live location when you choose to share it. Echomitter can be useful for personal safety, accountability, incident documentation, professional drivers, field workers, journalists, content creators, and anyone who wants extra protection for important recordings. Echomitter is not an emergency service and does not contact emergency responders. Users are responsible for using recording, streaming, and location features lawfully.
