dWorld Community Live

dWorld helps you defend democracy by organizing the people who already trust you. Most political tools are built around mass broadcast: ads, posts, viral content competing for attention from strangers. The research is clear that this approach barely moves the needle. What actually changes votes is a conversation with someone you know. That's relational organizing. Reaching out to your friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers — your "personal precinct" — to talk about what matters and make sure they vote. The closer the relationship, the bigger the impact. dWorld is built around this idea. WHAT'S INSIDE — Personal Precinct: build the list of people you'll actually talk to, and track who you've reached — A community feed of substantive commentary, organizing tactics, and current events — without engagement algorithms or ad-driven outrage cycles — End-to-end encrypted direct messages, so political conversations stay between you and the people you trust — An AI Guide to help you verify claims against the rising tide of misinformation and deepfakes, draft messages, and learn how policies affect you and your precinct — "The Digital Republic" — Garrett Gruener's book on technology, democracy, and what comes next, built into the app HOW IT'S DIFFERENT — No engagement algorithms designed to maximize time-on-app — No data selling, no advertising, no third-party tracking — Your messages and reading history are encrypted on your device and on dWorld's servers; even dWorld can't read them dWorld is supported by subscribers, not advertisers. $10/month if you want to support the project; the core app is free. WHO IT'S FOR People who feel democracy is in trouble and want to do something about it that actually works. Not viral posters, not influencers, not pundits — citizens with friends, family, and neighbors they can reach. ABOUT END-TO-END ENCRYPTION — Direct messages use the Signal Protocol (the same protocol used by Signal and WhatsApp) — Backups of your messages and profile are encrypted with a key derived from your password — A recovery key, generated on your device, can restore your account if you forget your password — No master key, no backdoor, no recovery on dWorld's end REQUIREMENTS — An Android phone running Android 7.0 (Nougat) or later — A phone number for SMS verification at signup dWorld is a project of Gruener Ventures.
