このアプリでは選択された1枚の画像が自動で瞬時に3Dモデルへ変換され、画像に描かれている物や写真に映っている物が浮き出して半立体化し、このアプリのビューア上で指で回しながら角度を変えて見ることができるようになります。このアプリにより良好に立体化できた例としては、手足の骨のX線画像、フィギアやプラモデルの写真などがあります。また、滝、渓流、生い茂っている草木、ごつごつとした岩肌、犬や猫の毛並み、青空に浮かぶ雲などの写真や、台風の気象衛星画像、胸部X線画像などのように、3Dモデルにすることが難しそうと思われる不定形な物も比較的良い感じで立体化できることは、本アプリの特長の一つです。浮世絵なども意外な感じで立体化される場合もあり興味深いです。写真については被写体の真正面になっている角度から撮影された場合の方が良好に立体化できる可能性が高いです。 ※ 画像に描かれている物や写真に映っている物の色合いや形、撮影角度などによっては、3Dモデルへの変換にあたり上手く立体化できない場合もありますので御了承下さい。 ※ このアプリで生成された3Dモデルによるコンピューター・グラフィックスや立体物などの商用利用については、別途「デベロッパーの連絡先」の「メール」に記載されていますアドレスへ電子メールにて個別にお問い合わせ下さい。
