Full description
The conches sound across Kurukshetra. Two warriors face each other with bows drawn. Only one will stand when the dust settles. Dvandva (द्वन्द्व, "the duel") is a turn-based archery battle from the age of the Mahabharata. Aim, feel the wind, and loose divine astras at your rival across ruined bridges and open battlefields, where every blast tears the ground apart. DIVINE ASTRAS Wield seventeen astras, each with its own nature: • Agni sets your foe ablaze and keeps burning • Jal raises Varuna's tide that sweeps your rival across the field • Vidyut calls lightning down from the top of its arc • Naga, the living serpent, hunts its target • Garuda dives from the sky; Kaal waits, ticking, then shatters the earth • Sphatika traps your foe in a crystal cage; the Kavach raises Karna's golden shield COMBINE THE ELEMENTS Soak your foe with Jal, then strike with Vidyut for double damage. Corrode them with Vish, then set them alight for an Acid Blaze. Fan the flames with Vayu. Find the marma, the vital point, for a critical strike. CHARIOTS AND WAR ELEPHANTS Ride a horse-drawn ratha that covers twice the ground and shields your legs, or climb into the howdah of a war elephant that shrugs off blows but bolts at fire and venom. Bring down your rival's mount and they fight on foot. CHOOSE YOUR VYUHA Before each duel, pick a battle formation (Chakravyuha, Garudavyuha, Makaravyuha or Padmavyuha) and the six astras you will carry. RIVALS FOR EVERY WARRIOR Duel a friend on the same device, or face the computer as a Rathi, an Atirathi or a near-unbeatable Maharathi that reads the wind and plans its combos. A WORLD FROM THE EPICS Hand-painted warriors Suryaketu and Nilavarna, battlefields at sunset and in the storm, war drums, temple bells and the blast of the shankha. • Single duels or best of three • Play offline, anytime; no ads, no account, no data collected • Made for landscape phones and tablets Draw your bow. The duel begins.
