Once the lock is on, the only way out is passing a sobriety test, a pattern memory challenge that's designed to be just hard enough when you're sober, and genuinely difficult when you're not. Match a dot pattern, solve a math problem, or beat a reaction test depending on difficulty. This ensures that selected apps remain blocked and screen time data stays updated even when the app is not open.
