Full description
Dronetrake Sync is the companion app of Dronetrake (dronetrake.com), the operations platform for professional drone teams. On the remote controller it puts the drone's live feed into your organization's ops room and brings DJI flight records into your logbook without you having to remember. On the field operator's phone it opens the bodycam when the control room asks for it. TWO ROLES, ONE APP On first connection the app asks "How is this device used?". • "Pilot station / remote controller": drone live feed, "Copy RTMP URL for DJI Pilot", flight record import. • "Field operator": bodycam channels, "Open the bodycam", position sent to the control room. No file access: a personal phone does not ask for permissions it does not use. Change it any time with "Change device role", at the bottom of the screen. HOW IT WORKS (PILOT STATION) 1. Tap "Sign in with Dronetrake" and sign in — or "Enter as guest (organization + code)", if the remote controller has no account. 2. Choose the channel to stream on. 3. Tap "Start streaming". That is all. If you prefer to stream from DJI Pilot, "Copy RTMP URL for DJI Pilot" and paste it there. The rest runs in the background: the app finds the folder where DJI flight apps keep their records and uploads them when the network is there. On Android 11 and newer, the records of some DJI apps live in a protected folder (Android/data). In that case, select the records in your file manager and use Share → Dronetrake Sync: they are uploaded straight away. THE CONTROL ROOM BELL As a field operator, keep position sharing on: the phone sends it to the control room in a visible notification ("Position for the control room") and stays listening. When the control room needs your video, the notification "The control room requests your live video" arrives: one tap opens the bodycam and you go live. It rings once per request and goes quiet when the request is withdrawn. WHAT IT DOES • Live commanded from the app: pick a channel and the drone's feed enters your organization's ops room. Requires a DJI remote controller with Pilot 2 connected. • Full flight import: take-off and landing, track, altitude, speed, battery data — decoded at 10 Hz where available. • Aircraft matched by serial number; optionally register drones that are not in your fleet yet. • Automatic sync: a periodic worker retries pending uploads when the network returns. • Multi-organization: choose which workspace receives the flights; each flight is attributed to the right pilot. • Credentials stored encrypted on the device; nothing is shared with third parties. WHO IT IS FOR Drone service companies, flight schools, public-safety and civil-protection teams that keep their operations, evidence and logbook on Dronetrake. The app requires a Dronetrake organization — create one at dronetrake.com. Works on phones and on DJI enterprise remote controllers (Android 7+). DJI is a trademark of SZ DJI Technology Co., Ltd. Dronetrake Sync is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by DJI.

What's new

New: on first connection choose how this device is used: “Pilot station / remote controller” or “Field operator” (bodycam channels, “Open the bodycam”, shared position, only the permissions it needs); the role can be changed at the bottom of the screen. Bell: “The control room requests your live video” arrives as a notification. “Send position to the control room”: during the live video the control room sees this device on the map, also as a guest. New “DT” icon, lighter app.
