ECD Calculator

ECD Calculator is the ultimate mobile tool for Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) engineers who need fast, accurate, and reliable down-hole pressure calculations—right from their smartphone. Designed with field efficiency in mind, this app streamlines complex calculations and eliminates the need for spreadsheets or manual methods. It integrates essential inputs for annular sections, annulus profiles, and Fann's readings to help you select the most accurate Rheology model for your operation. Key Capabilities: - Advanced Pressure Calculations: Instantly compute True Vertical Depth (TVD), Bottom Hole Pressure (BHP), hydrostatic pressure, frictional losses, Surface Back Pressure (SBP), and total friction pressure losses at any Point Of Interest or Target ECD (APC). - MPD Connection: Determine the SBP required to maintain constant pressure at any depth—or calculate the SBP needed at MPD connections. - Interactive Rheogram Plotting: Plot Fann readings against RPM with high-resolution, intuitive graphs to easily identify anomalies and optimize fluid models. - 2D Wellbore Visualization: View a clear, interactive profile of your well’s deviation—True Vertical Depth vs. Horizontal Displacement—for better spatial awareness. - Customizable Units: Choose your preferred units for pressure, density, length, flow rate, diameters, and volume to match your workflow and regional standards. Download ECD Calculator today and take control of your MPD operations.
