Full description
Greg "The Crust" Henderson takes pizza delivery far too seriously. Tonight's order is on the ninth floor of Mammon Tower, a corporate Hell-skyscraper run by a middle-management demon of greed. The front door has locked behind him and the elevator is out of order. Greg is optimistic about this. Greg has a gun. CRUST is a hardcore action roguelike where Greg's gun aims and fires by itself, so every run comes down to where you stand. There are nine procedurally built floors with a boss on each, and more than 150 stacking items, many of which show up on Greg. He has a voiced line for every item he picks up, and for every death. Death ends the run. BUILT FOR ONE THUMB Portrait, one hand: a floating joystick and auto-fire. No aim stick, no fire button, no on-screen button grid. CRUST was designed for a phone from the first frame, and the difficulty does not scale down because you are on one. FREE TO START. ONE PURCHASE FOR THE WHOLE TOWER. The first four floors are free to play, for good. The one purchase opens the other five. There is exactly one thing to buy, and it unlocks the whole game - no currency packs, no battle pass, no subscription. No ads. No energy timers. No account, no sign-in. You cannot buy your way out of a death. Plays fully offline - on a plane, underground, anywhere. WHAT'S IN THE TOWER - Nine floors of Mammon Tower, each with its own theme and a boss. Floors 1-8 draw theirs fresh each run; the ninth you'll have to see for yourself - More than 150 items to uncover and pick up, each with a different effect. The more you pick up, the weirder Greg gets - Ten guns to find and swap in, each with its own play style - Procedurally generated floors: the tower is different every run - Permadeath: when Greg dies, the run is over. The mistakes are yours - A van you tune between runs. Unlocks add content and variety, never raw stats - Pixel art, and a voiced line for every item Greg picks up and for every death, because Greg has opinions HARDCORE MEANS HARDCORE Bosses have real patterns worth learning. Items stack into builds that break the game in your favour. You will die on floor three, learn something, and go again. Cash, check, or face-melting. Just like the manual says. JOIN THE CREW ON DISCORD CRUST is made by one developer, and the Discord is where it gets changed. Join to: - Report bugs and balance problems straight to the developer - Argue about which floor is unfair (it is floor three) - Design items and rate everyone else's - every month the winning design is built into the game with your name on it - Read every patch note and devlog first Join: https://discord.gg/vwvUGkre93

What's new

Balance pass and a new sign in the lobby. - Deep floors hit harder: enemy health climbs more steeply on floors 2 to 9, Mammon included. - A few of the strongest items turn up less often. - Devil deals only take red hearts. - The Discamajig engages from further away. - The Wishing Fountain shows your lifetime donations and the next reward. - A RULES & REGULATIONS sign in the lobby. Bump into it. - The receptionist counts a line as heard only once she finishes it. Tell us where it drags.
