Overlap: Match Through Movies

Overlap is where film lovers find their people. Instead of matching on selfies, Overlap matches you on what you actually watch — your favorite films, your hot takes, the movies you'd defend to the end. See a real taste-match score with everyone you meet, and connect with people who get why that ending wrecked you. WHY OVERLAP • Taste-match score — every profile shows how much your film taste overlaps, so you know before you say hi. • Discover by taste — swipe through people matched on favorite films, genres, and the stuff they can't stand. • A feed built around film — share reviews, ratings, and hot takes. React and reply with people who care as much as you do. • Matches & messaging — when you both connect, start a conversation about the films you love. • Watch together — line up what to watch next with the people you match with. • Your film identity — build a profile around your favorites, your ratings, and your one true hot take. MADE FOR PEOPLE WHO... • Judge you (lovingly) by your top four. • Have strong opinions about practical effects vs CGI. • Want a first date that starts with "okay but have you seen…" • Are tired of dating and social apps that ignore the one thing they care about most. Whether you're here to find someone who shares your taste, make friends who'll actually watch the weird stuff with you, or just argue about the best film of the decade — Overlap connects you through cinema. Download Overlap and find your people.
