Don’t Tap: Rogue Op is a focus-driven arcade challenge where you act as the Operator. One hand stays on the Focus Node, while everything else on screen tries to break your concentration. Core gameplay Hold the Focus Node at the bottom of the screen until the countdown reaches zero Releasing early causes a failure Avoid tapping floating Anomalies such as fake warnings, buttons, and banners Threats Yellow threats move in from the edges. If one reaches your Focus Node, time is reduced and pressure increases. If the timer runs out, the sequence ends. While holding the node, swipe in any direction to fire a pulse. Pulses destroy real threats on contact. You have limited pulse charges per sequence, especially at higher difficulty levels. Destroying a threat can restore a charge. Decoys Some objects are decoys marked with a red glow and an X. If they reach your node, nothing happens. However, using a pulse on a decoy reduces time and increases difficulty. Focus on real threats only. Difficulty progression As you advance: Sequences last longer Anomalies appear more frequently Threats move faster More objects appear on screen Decoys also appear more often at higher levels. Operator ranks Your progress determines your Operator Rank, displayed on the main terminal and in the Restraint Index. Advancing unlocks new ranks and additional gameplay modifiers, such as: Changing object movement Visual distortion effects Temporary UI interference Mimic objects that resemble the Focus Node Altered timer displays Higher ranks introduce more complex challenges. Progress and storage The Restraint Index tracks your highest sequence, total time played, and current rank. All progress is stored locally on your device. No account is required.
