Full description
Broken glass on the grass. An aggressive dog around the corner. A neighbour whose dog just got out. This kind of information loses its value within an hour. Today it circulates in social media groups, where it reaches the wrong people and usually arrives too late. CanisSocial works the other way round. A warning reported by another owner reaches you only when you are actually nearby. REAL-TIME HAZARD MAP Reports are placed on the map by users themselves. Each one has a defined radius, and the app checks whether it genuinely affects you. Report and see, among others: - broken glass and sharp objects - poison and food with razor blades - aggressive dogs and aggressive people - wasp and hornet nests - wild boar, foxes and other wildlife You get a notification the moment you enter the hazard zone, even with the screen off. DOGS NEARBY AND WHAT THEY ARE LIKE A dog profile is more than a name and a photo. You record how the dog behaves around other dogs, around children, its energy level and its reaction to strangers. This lets the map answer the question every owner asks before heading out: is the dog coming towards us going to be a problem. Dogs marked as friendly appear within a 100-metre radius, and dogs marked as difficult already at 50 metres. That leaves time to change route calmly. WHEN A DOG GOES MISSING A report sends a notification to every user within the chosen radius. Immediately, with no wait for moderation and no algorithm deciding who sees it. The alert carries the dog's photo, breed and the owner's contact details. It stays active on the map for 24 hours. WALKS You start a walk with a single button. The app records the route, distance and time, and you review the history on the map. This record is for you: to compare activity week to week, or to show your vet how much the dog actually moves. Points and badges reward regularity. They exist to help keep the habit, not to turn a walk into a competition. DOG-FRIENDLY PLACES A directory of canine services and places that come in useful day to day: - veterinary clinics - behaviourists and dog training schools - grooming salons - pet shops - dog hotels and off-leash areas Every place has a description, contact details and a location. Businesses manage their own listings and publish events: training sessions, open days, vaccination drives. FORUM AND MESSAGING A topic-based forum plus private and group chat. Talk to dog owners in your area, arrange walks together, ask who the reliable vet is. SAFETY AND PRIVACY - messages are encrypted - ghost mode switches off your visibility on the map - users under 16 have ghost mode on by default, and only their guardian can see their location - messaging between minors and adults is blocked at system level - reports expire automatically, so data does not sit on the map indefinitely Your location serves one purpose: checking whether an alert affects you. It is not shared continuously. WHO IT IS FOR For anyone who walks a dog every day and would rather know in advance than find out on the spot. The app is free and available in English, Polish and fifteen further languages. Have feedback or an idea for a feature? Write to us. This app is built on reports from the people who use it daily.
