dnata logistics LMD is the field application used by dnata logistics delivery teams to move and hand over valuable shipments. This is a private workforce app. Access requires credentials issued by dnata logistics — there is no public sign-up, guest mode or trial. If you are expecting a parcel, you do not need this app. The purpose of the app is a provable chain of custody: who collected a shipment, where it travelled, and who received it. COLLECTION AT THE HUB • Scan each parcel before it leaves, using the order code on the label • Only parcels scheduled for today or tomorrow can be collected • Capture a photo of the parcel at the pickup point • A running counter shows how many of your assigned parcels you have collected ON THE ROAD • Today's deliveries, listed in the order you should drive them • An optimised multi-stop route calculated inside the app • Turn-by-turn navigation, with the route re-planned automatically if you divert • Delivery calendar — tap any date to see the shipments scheduled for it • Call or message the recipient without exposing personal numbers AT THE DOOR • Scan the parcel barcode to confirm you are handing over the right shipment • Capture up to three geo-tagged photos as proof of delivery • Take the recipient's signature on screen • Verify the recipient's Emirates ID against the shipment record • Record a standard reason when a delivery cannot be completed • Review completed deliveries afterwards, with the option to add further photos BUILT FOR VALUABLE CARGO • Two-step verification is required for every user, on every sign-in • A phone can be trusted for 30 days so the code is not asked for daily • Fingerprint or face unlock for faster access, verified on your device only • Every status update carries the location and time it was recorded • Works without signal — updates and photos are queued and synced automatically once you are back online • Push notifications the moment a new delivery is assigned to you, so nothing is missed WHY THE APP ASKS FOR PERMISSIONS Camera — to scan parcel barcodes and take proof-of-delivery photographs. Location — to geo-tag delivery updates and plan your route. Collected only while you are using the app; there is no background tracking. Notifications — to alert you when a delivery is assigned or rescheduled. Biometrics — for optional sign-in. Fingerprint and face data never leave your device and are never transmitted. ACCESS Sign in with the account issued to you by dnata logistics. Your deliveries, hub and role are assigned centrally; you will only see the shipments allocated to you.
