Caseta

Caseta is a mixtape studio in your pocket. Build a cassette the way it used to be done: choose the songs for Side A and Side B in the order you want them heard, record your own voice between them, and decorate the shell with a colour, stickers and a cover of your own. Then put it in its case and lend it to one person. A tape plays like a tape. There is no skipping. Play, pause, flip to the other side, or pick up the pencil and wind the reels to wherever you like. Lights out leaves the cassette turning on its own. WHAT YOU CAN PUT ON A TAPE • Your voice, recorded in the app, up to five minutes a take • Audio files you own, uploaded privately • Songs from YouTube, by pasting a link; the video plays on the deck while the tape runs LENDING Every account has a username. A tape goes to one invited username, and it waits as an invitation until that person accepts it. Only that account can open it, and you can take it back at any time. The person it is lent to can report it or block you, and every report is read by a person. PRIVACY Your recordings and pictures are stored privately and are never public. Sign in with Google or email. Delete your account, and everything on it, from inside the app. FOR ADULTS Caseta is an adults-only service. You must be 18 or older to have an account.
