Spirit Drum is a drum-led listening practice. Original synthesized percussion guides you through four stages: intention, listening, an imagined landscape, and return. Alongside the practice, read documented context on the drum in Evenki shamanic traditions and on why local cultural meanings matter. THE DRUM, IN CONTEXT The percussion was composed for this app. It is not presented as a traditional song, an initiation, or a recording of an Evenki ceremony. The source notes keep documented history apart from the modern listening exercise, so you always know which is which. YOUR SESSION • Choose any length from 1 to 60 minutes, with a countdown for each stage • A visual practice space made for this app • Four-stage drum audio with its own volume control and mute • Pause, resume or end at any point, and mark a moment as it happens • Every session is recorded automatically, ready for your reflections AFTER THE DRUM Add and edit reflections in a private journal kept on your device, and export it as a JSON file whenever you choose. The drum stops when you leave the practice screen or the app. The timer keeps running through ordinary background use. If Android closes the app, your session comes back paused at its latest checkpoint. PRIVATE AND OFFLINE Spirit Drum works without a connection. No account, no advertising, no analytics, no microphone access and no internet permission. Source links open in your browser only when you tap them.
