Detective Murdoku

There has been a murder. You have the floor plan, the list of suspects and what each of them said. Nothing else. Detective Murdoku is a game of pure deduction. Each case asks you to place one person in every row and every column of the board, like a sudoku, except the clues are not numbers: they are sentences. One of them was right in front of a window. Another, two columns west of where the gardener stood. A third shared a room with exactly two women. Nothing here is guesswork. Every case has a single solution, and you reach it by reasoning, one step at a time, without trial and error. HOW IT PLAYS • Tap a cell to leave a note • Press and hold to place a suspect • Cross out the cells you have ruled out • Undo when you get it wrong • Solve unlocks once everyone is on the board WHAT IS INSIDE • Dozens of cases, from easy to extreme, with more in every update • A guided first case that teaches you to play, step by step • Houses, parks, streets, garages, a museum, a forest, a stadium, a beach, a zoo, a golf course, an island • A Halloween collection, with suspects in costume and pumpkins on the board • A clock, if you feel like racing yourself • Step-by-step hints for when you are stuck, revealed one at a time • In English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, German and Polish, following your phone's language or the one you pick NO FUSS • Works offline • No sign-up, no accounts, no passwords • Light or dark theme, or whichever your phone uses • Your progress saves itself: close the app whenever you like and come back to it Detective Murdoku is free and pays for itself with the odd advert when you leave a solved case. Never while you are playing, and never over the board. The first hint of every case is free; the rest open by watching an advert, if you feel like it. And if you would rather see none at all, one payment removes them for good and leaves every hint open.
