El Museo del Ejército es un museo de categoría nacional con sede en el Alcázar de Toledo que atesora un amplio acervo cultural, constituido por la propia sede y por las ricas colecciones de valor histórico, artístico, científico y técnico que alberga. Un patrimonio que es suyo, pues es de todos los españoles, por lo que el personal que presta servicio en el Museo se esfuerza día en día en ponerlo a su alcance, custodiándolo, conservándolo, exhibiéndolo y difundiendo la historia de nuestro Ejército, consustancial con la historia de España, su contribución al nacimiento, constitución y desarrollo de la nación y del Estado español y sus importantes aportaciones militares al progreso institucional, social, cultural y científico de España. Para ello pone a su disposición 21 salas permanentes, 8 de ellas históricas y 13 temáticas, además de 1 sala para exposiciones temporales, así como una amplia oferta de actividades culturales realizadas fundamentalmente en el auditorio y en la sala didáctica, dirigidas tanto a adultos como a niños. Igualmente se potencia la investigación facilitando el trabajo en sus colecciones, para lo que cuenta con un departamento de atención a investigadores y salas debidamente acondicionadas para que puedan desarrollar su trabajo. Le animo a visitarlo y a sumergirse en la apasionante Historia de España y de nuestro Ejército.
