Στόχος του έργου είναι η προώθηση των προϊόντων και υπηρεσιών των μικρομεσαίων επιχειρήσεων της Κρήτης στους επισκέπτες της μέσω της ανάδειξης του πλούσιου ιστορικού και πολιτισμικού αποθέματος του νησιού με πολύ χαμηλό κόστος ώστε να προσελκυστεί μεγάλος αριθμός επιχειρήσεων. Πιο συγκεκριμένα, στο πλαίσιο της πράξης αναπτύσσεται μια ανοιχτή, ολοκληρωμένη Ψηφιακή Πλατφόρμα (ΨΠ) για την οπτική απεικόνιση σύνθετων ιστορικών γεγονότων και διαδικασιών ή μύθων οι οποίες έλαβαν χώρα στην Κρήτη οι οποίες παρουσιάζονται μέσω του διαδικτύου ή/και μέσω κινητών συσκευών (έξυπνα κινητά τηλέφωνα, ταμπλέτες) με σκοπό το ψηφιακό μάρκετινγκ (digital marketing) και την προώθηση προϊόντων και υπηρεσιών μικρομεσαίων επιχειρήσεων της Κρήτης που δραστηριοποιούνται στον τομέα του τουρισμού (Διαμονή εστίαση, μεταφορές ταξιδιωτικά γραφεία κλπ.) χρησιμοποιώντας βασικές αρχές και μηχανισμούς της διαμεσικής αφηγηματικής εξιστόρησης (transmedia storytelling) και της ενεργής συμμετοχής των αναγνωστών (reader engagement) επιτρέποντας τη συμμετοχή τους στην εμπειρία της αφήγησης.
