Full description
PASS – Smart Proximity-Based Connection App PASS helps people connect instantly with others nearby—without phone numbers, awkward introductions, or exposing personal contact details. Built for real-world, moment-based interactions, PASS uses a radar-style discovery system to enable secure, privacy-first, consent-driven connections between people in the same physical space. Whether you’re on a university campus, attending an event, working from a co-working space, or simply open to meeting new people nearby, PASS makes connecting simple, intentional, and pressure-free. Why PASS? In real-life environments, people often want to connect but hesitate because: • Asking for phone numbers feels awkward • Sharing personal information upfront can be risky • Existing social platforms depend on usernames, numbers, or public profiles • There’s no simple way to connect only with people nearby, in the moment PASS solves this by removing friction from in-person discovery while keeping privacy and consent at the core of every interaction. How PASS Works PASS introduces a radar-based proximity discovery model that allows users to discover other PASS users within an approximate range of up to 100 meters. Instead of public profiles or searchable usernames, discovery is temporary, session-based, and fully controlled by the user. Users can send secure connection requests to nearby users without revealing personal information. A connection is only established when both users explicitly accept, ensuring mutual consent at every step. Precise location data is never shown or stored. Location signals are used ephemerally and only for real-time discovery during active sessions. Core Features Smart Radar Discovery • Discover nearby PASS users within an approximate 100-meter range • No public profiles or searchable usernames • Visibility is temporary and session-based • Exact location data is never displayed or stored Privacy-First Connections • No phone numbers required • No email addresses shared by default • No forced personal identifiers • Users decide what to share and when Consent-Driven Requests • Send connection requests to nearby users • Requests must be explicitly accepted or rejected • Limited profile information is revealed only after mutual consent • No unsolicited contact or forced exposure Real-Time Interaction • Live radar updates during active discovery • Instant delivery of connection requests and responses • Low-latency, session-scoped interactions Full User Control • Enable or disable discoverability at any time • Revoke connections whenever desired • Manage active sessions and shared data easily Designed For • Campus and university networking • Events, meetups, and conferences • Co-working spaces • Casual social discovery • Professional introductions without pressure Built With Privacy in Mind PASS is designed with a privacy-first architecture. Personal data is minimized, discoverability is opt-in, and all interactions require explicit user consent. Location information is processed temporarily for discovery purposes only and is never stored or displayed as precise coordinates. PASS turns real-world proximity into meaningful digital connections—without pressure, without exposure, and without compromise. Connect nearby. Stay private. Stay in control.
