Visual media is a fundamental component of the application's core functionality and is required to document activities, validate task completion, and provide evidence for administrative review. The application requests access to: - **Camera**, to capture photographic and video evidence and to scan QR codes and barcodes during operational tasks. - **Photos and media selected by the user**, allowing users to choose images or videos from their device gallery to attach as evidence within forms, inspections, and reports. The application does not access or scan personal photos, videos, or files without the user's explicit action. Media access is limited strictly to content selected or captured by the user within the app's workflows and is used solely for the functionality described above. ### Local Storage Usage Access to local device storage is required to temporarily save form responses, captured photos, and related media to ensure data integrity and offline functionality. Stored data is synchronized securely when network connectivity is available. ### Location and Foreground Location Services DABI Mobile uses device geolocation to support operational tracking and task validation features. Location access is necessary to: - Display assigned task locations on a map. - Allow users to share their real-time location during active tasks when required. - Associate captured photographic evidence with geographic location data to validate where activities were completed. The application uses foreground location services while tasks are active to support operational workflows and ensure accurate tracking. All users provide explicit consent for location access, and location data is handled securely in accordance with Android platform standards. DABI Mobile combines data capture, photographic evidence, location tracking, and reporting tools into a single platform to support efficient field operations and management oversight.
