Hanoi Tower: Disc Puzzle

🗼 The classic tower of hanoi, and a fourth peg that turns it into a real puzzle. Move the whole tower to another peg. One disc at a time, and never a bigger disc on a smaller one. That is the entire rule, and it is learned in ten seconds. 🔑 FOUR PEGS IS WHERE THE PUZZLE IS With three pegs there is exactly one perfect line and no decision to make: the classic is a procedure you execute. With four pegs, almost half of the positions have two or more equally perfect moves, so the shortest solution is something you actually have to find. That mode is the game; three pegs are the tutorial. 📏 EVERY MOVE IS COUNTED AGAINST THE MINIMUM The counter never shows your moves alone: it shows them against the proven minimum for that board. 23 means nothing; 23 / 15 is the whole game. You cannot lose a tower of hanoi, you can only take longer. 🪜 24 HAND-PICKED LEVELS, NOT A LIST OF SIZES Adding discs makes a level longer, not harder. So the four peg ladder is not sizes stacked up: every level starts with the discs already spread out, and each one was measured and kept only if it has real decisions inside. Three profiles — Short, Tricky and Long — and you pick which one you are in the mood for. 🧩 60 PUZZLES: NOT ONE WASTED MOVE A four peg position half-way through, and you have to finish it in the minimum. Every move is judged: one that is not perfect ends the try and shows you, in green, the moves that were. Every puzzle starts at a fork with two perfect moves. 📅 DAILY CHALLENGE A new starting position every day, the same one for everybody, with its own minimum.
