WHY OFFLINE-FIRST MATTERS Spotter logs every set instantly using a local Room database — with or without signal. Your gym's basement Wi-Fi blackspot, an airplane workout, a holiday cabin: it all just works. Backup is handled by Android Auto Backup to your Google Drive (system-managed; we cannot read or write your backup), so a fresh phone restores Spotter with everything intact. PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD, ACTUALLY Most gym apps treat warmup and working sets the same. Spotter doesn't. Every exercise has a warmup count and a working count. Rest timers run separately.
