Get Step Go

Get Step Go turns a step count into a friendly competition with the people you already know. Create a private group, share one invite code, and start a challenge. The leaderboard moves as everyone walks through the day — no public profiles, no follower counts, no feed to keep up with. GROUPS, NOT STRANGERS Invite friends, family, coworkers, or your walking club with a single code. Only your group sees your activity. THREE WAYS TO COMPETE Race on total steps, on a daily average, or on a goal streak. Each challenge gets its own leaderboard, so a group can run more than one at a time. STEPS THAT SYNC THEMSELVES Connect Health Connect once and the board keeps moving on its own. That covers the wearables people actually use — Fitbit, Garmin, Samsung Health, Pixel Watch and more — because they all write into Health Connect. An Oura ring can connect directly. WHEN A DAY LOOKS WRONG Sync does not reach every wearable every day. Open the day, add a screenshot from your watch or its app, and Get Step Go reads the step count straight off the picture. If the number cannot be read, type it in — the picture still goes with it, so anyone in your group can see where the steps came from. CHEER EACH OTHER ON Chat inside a challenge, and send a nudge when someone has gone quiet. SIMPLE ON PURPOSE No ads. No analytics tracking you around. No public feed. The app stays small and calm: enough motivation to help your group move more, without trying to become another social network. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your steps are visible to the members of your groups and to nobody else. You can delete your account and your data at any time — getstepgo.com/delete-account explains how. Get Step Go is still in beta and is being refined around a focused set of things: private groups, step syncing, and friendly competition.
