Full description
You have one season to take a mid-table T20 club to the title. The board wants the top four. Get it wrong and they will find someone who can. BALL BY BALL, NOT SIMULATED AWAY This is not a game that rolls a dice and tells you the score. You watch every delivery - live commentary, a scoreboard that ticks over, the over filling up in front of you, and a full-screen jolt when the stumps go back. Pause any time. Run it at 4x when you are on a bus. YOU MAKE THE CALLS THAT MATTER - Set batting intent between Anchor, Rotate, Attack and All-out, and change it mid-over when the required rate climbs - Choose your bowler at the end of every over under real constraints: nobody bowls two in a row, nobody bowls more than four - Read the matchups. Off-spin turns away from a left-hander. Leg-spin is the harder ball for a right-hander. Your best bowler is not always the right bowler - Watch the pressure build. Six dots in a row and your batter will do something stupid A SQUAD THAT HAS OPINIONS Your players are not rows in a spreadsheet. They have a hand, a bowling type, a weakness, and a temperament. A good player batting at eight will come and ask you why. Contracts run down and agents ask for more. An academy graduate you brought through at eighteen is worth something a signing never is. BUILD A CLUB - Upgrade the stadium, training ground, medical team and academy - Set ticket prices - squeeze too hard and the ground empties - Sign players in the transfer market, and fight off rival clubs bidding for your targets - Keep the wage bill under the sponsorship - Fourteen league matches, a proper net run rate table, then the playoffs A REAL CRICKET ENGINE Scores behave the way T20 scores behave. Around 165 is par. A 190 feels big because it is. Chasing sides win a little under half the time. Nothing is rigged for or against you. No account needed. No internet needed. Your season saves as you play.

What's new

Death Overs is a T20 cricket management game. You never face a ball — you run the club. Pick your XI, call the toss, decide who bowls each over and when to hold your best bowler back. Sign players from the transfer market on a fixed budget. Answer to a board that sets you a target every season and won't wait forever. A match takes a few minutes. A season is fourteen of them. Free to play, no paywall. Ads are optional and pay you in-game.
