Full description

DataFirst Driver is the driver app of DataFirst Logistics. It is meant for drivers of companies that plan in the DataFirst TMS; you sign in with the account your planner created for you. What you do in the app: • See today's route: every stop in planned order, with its time window, address and the packages or pallets per stop. • Navigate to the next stop with your own navigation app. • Complete deliveries and pickups, with photos and a signature as proof of delivery. • Report a stop that cannot be done, with the reason, so the planner knows at once. • Exchange messages with planning, photos included. • Share your position during your shift, so the planner and the customer can see when you will arrive. About your location: the app shares your position only between starting and ending your shift in the app, also while the app is in the background or the screen is off. Outside your shift nothing is shared. You can switch on a private mode in the app and see which locations of yours are kept. How long they are kept and who sees them is in the privacy policy. The app only works with an account at a company that uses DataFirst Logistics.

What's new

Return packaging is now hard to miss: an orange Return label in the stop list, a banner on the stop, and a Collect card with a single tap for 'All collected'. When nothing has to come back, the screen stays quiet. After you take a damage photo, the Damage tab now shows that it is saved.
