Square Sudoku

Square Sudoku is a Sudoku app built for Android devices that ordinary puzzle apps often overlook — square and near-square screens, e-ink devices, compact devices and devices with physical keyboards. The grid comes first. Square Sudoku gives the puzzle as much room as possible and keeps the tools close at hand, whether you play by touch, type numbers on a physical keyboard or use an e-ink screen. Settle into a puzzle at one of four difficulty levels, from Easy to Expert. Every puzzle is created on your device, has exactly one solution and can be solved by logic alone — no guessing needed. Want a little help? Hints first point out a wrong number. Otherwise, they explain a simple next step when one is available, or reveal a digit to help you continue. Come back for a daily puzzle — the same puzzle for everyone each day, even without an Internet connection. You can also: • Add pencil marks and let them tidy themselves as you place numbers, or fill in all notes with one tap. • Choose how mistakes are shown: not at all, as conflicts, or checked against the solution. • Type numbers on a physical keyboard. On keyboards with numbers printed on letter keys, those letters enter their numbers without holding Alt. • Use a dedicated e-ink mode with a clear black-and-white grid, underlined mistakes and no animations. • Choose a light or dark display, or follow your device's setting. • Undo, redo and pause at any time. Your game is saved after every move. • Follow your best times and daily streak in the statistics. Play in English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Norwegian Bokmål, German, Spanish or French. Follow your device's language or choose one in Settings. Everything runs locally on your device. No ads. No account. No analytics. No Internet permission.
