Daily Summa reads your own Canvas account and sends you a short, plain-language summary of your student's coursework. What is due, what has not been turned in, and what was just graded. No hunting through Canvas. No asking a teenager whether they have homework and getting "no" for an answer. WHAT YOU GET A morning briefing before school, with what is due today and anything that slipped overnight. An afternoon update with new grades and anything still outstanding. An evening check-in so nothing goes to bed unfinished. A weekend summary and a look at the week ahead. You choose which of these you receive, at what time, and whether they arrive by email, text or push notification. Turn off the ones you do not want. BUILT FOR THE WAY FAMILIES ACTUALLY WORK Both parents can have their own login and their own notification choices. One of you can take the morning text while the other takes the evening email, and neither changes what the other receives. Students can have access too, seeing only their own work. Elementary students are included free. HONEST ABOUT WHAT CANVAS CAN AND CANNOT SEE Some work is collected in class or on paper. Canvas never receives it, so we never call it missing. It appears as something to check with your student rather than an accusation we cannot support. If a grade looks wrong or an assignment seems misfiled, you can flag it from the app and we will look at what Canvas actually returned. WHAT WE READ, AND WHAT WE DO NOT Read-only access to assignments, submissions, grades, and teacher announcements, for the students you are already authorized to see in Canvas. We never write to Canvas. We never post, submit, or change a grade. We request no write permission of any kind. Your student's data is not sent to any external AI service.
