Ouchi Museum: Kids Art Gallery

Ouchi Museum keeps the drawings your child makes as works in a collection. The drawings on the fridge fade. The pile of paper gets harder to store, and one day you have to decide what to throw away. Photograph a drawing and put it in a frame, and that day's drawing becomes a work you can walk back to years later. TAKE A PHOTO, GET A FRAME - Point and shoot. The app finds the edges of the paper, crops it, and straightens the shot even if you photographed it at an angle. - "Museum finish" evens out the lighting, whitens the paper and lifts only the pale colors. All of it happens on your device. - Three frames: oak, gold and white — built in layers, so they have the carved edge of a real moulding. - Turned the wrong way? Rotate it in 90° steps. EVERY WORK GETS A WALL LABEL - Title, the child's name, their age at the time and the date, set in the style of a museum caption. - The age is worked out from the birthday, so "6 yrs 1 mo" tells you exactly when it was drawn. - No title yet? The work is filed by accession number ("Work No. 3"). Ask them later and change it. - "a rainbow came after the rain" — their own words can be kept alongside the work. A MUSEUM YOUR FAMILY WALKS THROUGH - Frames hang on the gallery wall. Tap one and you step into the room, where the work is the only thing that matters. - Swipe left or right to move to the work next door, as if you were walking the gallery. - Pinch to 6× and look as closely as the crayon strokes. - More than one child? Give each of them a room, and switch between "Hana's Museum" and "Sota's Museum". SEND IT STRAIGHT TO FAMILY - Share a single image with the frame and the wall label in it. Grandparents receive a framed work, not a snapshot. - Every work you add is saved to your device's album as well, so the art survives even if you delete the app. PRIVACY The drawings, the names and the birthdays never leave your device. Nothing is uploaded to a server. There are no ads and no analytics. Finding the edges of the paper uses Google Play services on the device itself. Children draw like this for a surprisingly short stretch of years. Keep that stretch in Ouchi Museum.
